At New Look, we value genuine and honest feedback. By sharing your experience of our products, you not only assist other customers in choosing the right products but also help us enhance what we offer. We understand that reviews play a key role in helping customers make informed decisions. This policy outlines how reviews are handled on newlook.com, and the steps we take to keep them fair, clear, and accurate.
Submitting a product review
For customers on our website, only those who have purchased a product from us can submit a review of that product. After making a purchase from our website, customers will receive an invitation from our independent third-party review moderators, Bazaarvoice, to rate and review their purchased products. Customers can choose to opt-out of receiving these emails for future purchases made.
Moderation of reviews
All product reviews submitted to our website are moderated by Bazaarvoice before the review is published.
Bazaarvoice use both technical and human validation processes to moderate submitted reviews, before they are submitted to our website.
Bazaarvoice’s Authenticity Policy sets out the requirements for reviews to be considered authentic, including that all reviews are honest, non-fraudulent and by a real person stemming from real product experience.
Reporting suspected reviews
If you suspect a review on our website may be false or otherwise misleading, you can report it by using the ‘Report’ button under each review. Bazaarvoice will review the report and will remove reviews it deems to be false or otherwise misleading.
Incentivised reviews
As a thank you for leaving a review, customers will be entered into a prize draw for each review they leave, for a chance to win one of two £50 New Look Gift Cards each month. Additionally, if customers submit a photo with their review they will be entered into an additional prize draw to win a £50 New Look Gift Card. The closing date for each prize draw is the last day of each calendar month and winners will be notified within 14 days of the closing date of each prize draw.
Syndicated reviews
Bazaarvoice may publish reviews on our website that originally appeared on other retailer’s websites. All syndicated reviews are moderated by Bazaarvoice in accordance with their Authenticity Policy. These reviews are clearly identified with an “originally posted on” label.
