How do I pay by Klarna in store?
To pay using Klarna, simply take your items to the till point and ask the member of Store Staff to pay by ‘Klarna’. (You can also use Klarna for orders placed in store).
The member of staff will ask for your mobile number or email address (you'll need to be able to access this straight away).
You'll receive a message/email from Klarna, with a link to confirm the purchase and choose your payment option. (This link is valid for 48 hours.)
Simply select the best option for you when you purchase. (Please note: You may not see both options, this is dependent on your acceptance criteria with Klarna and a minimum £30 spend for Pay in 3.)
On acceptance, you will receive a QR code, which the staff member will scan to complete the purchase in the till.
They will ask for your surname and ID to make sure it matches the agreement and that's it! (If you're new to Klarna you may also need to provide your date of birth.)
You'll be handed a receipt from the staff member and receive confirmation from Klarna directly.
What if there's no signal in store to receive my QR code?
No need to panic....The member of staff can suspend the transaction on the till for you to go to an area where you can get a signal before returning with your code. We will try our best to make sure you don't have to queue again to complete your purchase.
Can I pay by part cash/card/gift card, part Klarna?
Yes you can. Make sure you tell the member of Staff this, and present your alternative payment first. They can apply this to the purchase and then any remaining balance can be paid by Klarna.
